If you are a defendant in Local Court NSW criminal proceedings, such as for drink driving or an assault offence and you are found guilty in the Local Court NSW, we can advise you on applying to the District Court of NSW to appeal the Local Court’s decision. You have 28 days from the date of the conviction in the Local Court to file an appeal to the District Court, against the decision and the penalty or only to the severity of the penalty.
